Medical device pioneer Stentys announced today that the entire ‘OPEN I’ clinical study was presented by Stefan Verheye, MD, Ph.D., at the joint meeting interventional in Rome in 2010, which shows results higher in 60 patients who were followed – up angiography after six months.‘These data strengthen our belief in the superiority of self-expanding stent undisputed drug-eluting balloon-expandable and Stentys than DES for the treatment of complex cases,’ said Gonzague Issenmann, CEO and co-founder of Stentys. ‘We are actively pursuing our clinical development program, particularly in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction, also demonstrate the superiority of Stentys technology in this group of patients.’

Dosage was two subcutaneous injections of 1 ml per day during the first 14 days, followed by a dose of 1 ml on days 22-28, 36-42 and 50-56. Spontaneous comments largely reflect the patient’s dose-related quality of life .
